The Client

Legato Security was a managed security services provider based in Salt Lake City, Utah. From its own 24x7 Security Operations Center, its team monitored client networks, detected threats and responded to incidents, and it offered professional services such as penetration testing and incident response alongside its managed services.

The Challenge

Legato Security ran a 24x7 Security Operations Center in Salt Lake City, monitoring and protecting client networks around the clock. Its previous website, built on Wix, didn't reflect that. A dark homepage slider and a handful of short service blurbs told visitors little about what each service included, how managed and professional services differed, or why a security leader should trust a growing MSSP with their environment.

The audience made the stakes higher. CISOs and IT leaders evaluate a security partner carefully, and they expect detail: what's monitored, what's included, how incidents are handled and who's behind the work. Legato also needed a site that could grow with the business, with room for new services, a product launch, downloadable resources and recruiting for an expanding SOC team.

Our Approach

We designed the site around how a security buyer researches a provider. The navigation split Legato's offering into Managed Security and Professional Services, with a dedicated page for every service, and the homepage led with a view of the customer portal and the security vendors Legato works with, so visitors saw the technology and the expertise from the first screen.

The site launched in 2022 on WordPress and Elementor with a calm teal and navy palette and orange calls to action pulled from Legato's brand. Blog posts, data sheets and team bios were managed as content Legato's team could update themselves, which let the site keep pace as the company added MDR+, launched its Ensemble platform and grew its team.

What We Built

The site gave every part of Legato's business a clear home. Choose a feature to see how it looked.

  • Each managed and professional service had its own page, from MDR+ and SIEM-as-a-Service to penetration testing and incident response. Pages followed a consistent pattern of what the service is, what it delivers and why Legato, with a link to the matching data sheet.

Credibility that matched the SOC

The new design replaced a generic slider with real product imagery, vendor logos and photos of Legato's own operations center. Visitors could see a serious security provider before reading a word.

A clear map of the services

Splitting the offering into Managed Security and Professional Services, with a page for each service, let buyers find exactly what they needed. Every page closed with a direct path to Legato's team.

A site that grew with the company

Because services, data sheets, blog posts and team members were structured content, Legato could add MDR+, launch Ensemble and publish new resources without a redesign. After launch, our team supported Legato with upgrades and hands-on training so they could run the blog, content library and forms themselves.

Recruiting built in

A dedicated careers page with benefits and a live Greenhouse job board gave Legato a recruiting channel inside its own website, which mattered as the SOC team grew.

“From planning our site and requested features, Chance and his team at Fluid 22 have been consummate professionals, helpful at every step. After go-live of the site, the team has been informative and helpful with upgrades and expansions, including hands-on training and guides through self-service of blogs, content library, and web-form connections. Great company, great service, great product.”
