StarLion had built something genuinely different. Spectrum Matrix moved fraud prevention away from the card networks and AI models that decide on a buyer's behalf, and put it in the cardholder's hands: every transaction triggered an alert in an app, and the owner approved it by drawing a pattern on the app's Color Grid. It was a new way of thinking about card security, and it needed a brand and a website to introduce it.
The site had to explain an unfamiliar technology in a few seconds, make a young product look trustworthy enough to handle payments, and speak to two very different audiences at once. Cardholders needed to see why the app would protect them, while banks and merchants needed to see that it would fit alongside the systems and compliance rules they already had.
