Do I have to sign a monthly retainer?
No. Our webmaster services run on a month-to-month agreement, with no costly retainer or long-term contract. We support you as much or as little as you need, from hosting and nightly backups to regular content changes, and we agree on what's included before any work starts. If your needs change down the road, your plan can change with them.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
We clean it up. Our team finds how the attacker got in, removes the malware, repairs or restores affected files from a clean backup and closes the hole they used to get in. How often do you back up my website?
Every night. Nightly backups mean there's always a recent copy of your site and its content to restore if an update fails, a file is damaged or the site is compromised. Restoring from a backup is usually far faster than rebuilding anything. It's one of the quiet routines most clients never think about until the day they need it.
Do you host the website, or do I need my own hosting?
We provide hosting. Sites in our care run on servers our team manages, so performance, security and backups are handled in one place. That gives you one point of contact instead of a separate hosting company to loop in whenever something goes wrong. Can I still update my website myself?
Yes. Your site runs on a content management system you can log into, so you can change text, images and pages whenever you like, and we provide training videos for the basic tools. If you'd rather not, send changes to us and we'll take care of them. And if an edit ever breaks something, the nightly backups make it easy to undo.
