The Client

Gulf Coast Supply and Manufacturing is a metal roofing manufacturer serving contractors, homeowners and commercial builders across the Southeast. Founded in 1996 by two brothers-in-law in Horseshoe Beach, Florida, the company is now headquartered in Newberry, Florida, with four manufacturing locations across Florida, Alabama and South Carolina. It offers start-to-finish metal roofing products, from standing seam and exposed fastener panels to trim, underlayment and accessories, backed by fast delivery and hands-on contractor training.

The Challenge

Gulf Coast's previous website was a narrow, centered layout built around a rotating slider, with a short menu split into Contractors, Architects, Homeowners and Resources. It covered the basics, but it didn't reflect a manufacturer with four plants, a full line of panel profiles and a large network of trained installers, and the products themselves were hard to compare in any depth.

The audience is unusually broad, too. Contractors need specs, approvals, manuals and account tools; architects and builders need spec files and warranties; homeowners want to see colors, find a trusted roofer and get a quote. All of them had to find their way through one site without getting lost in technical detail meant for someone else.

Our Approach

We organized the site around who is visiting. Commercial, Contractors and Homeowners each got their own section and mega menu, with Products and Technical Services alongside, so a roofer looking for an installation manual and a homeowner comparing colors each land on the right path within one click.

On that foundation we rebuilt every page in WordPress and Elementor with a bolder, image-led design: full-width photography of real Gulf Coast roofs and plants, consistent page headers, and a "Tell Us About Your Project" call to action at the end of every page. Each panel profile got a structured spec page, and the interactive tools, from the roofer locator to the Set Back Finder, were given a proper home.

What We Built

The new site works as a product catalog, a contractor resource and a homeowner guide at once. Choose a feature to see it on the live site.

  • Each profile, from GulfLok and GulfSeam to 5V Crimp and GulfWave, has its own page with a clear specs grid covering colors, coverage, material, substructure, warranties and approvals. Brochures, manuals, gallery photos and downloadable specs sit one click away.

A site that matches the manufacturer

Full-width photography of finished roofs and the factory floor, a confident type system and consistent page layouts give Gulf Coast an online presence that reflects its scale. The first impression now says manufacturer, not small supplier.

The right path for every visitor

Separate Commercial, Contractors and Homeowners sections with clear mega menus mean each audience reaches its own tools and content quickly. Contractors get specs, manuals and training; homeowners get colors, galleries and a roofer near them.

Technical detail that's easy to use

Spec grids, approval links, warranty details and downloadable files are organized the same way on every product page. Contractors and specifiers can compare profiles and pull what they need without digging through PDFs or calling the office.

Built to grow with the business

Built on WordPress and Elementor with reusable layouts, the site lets Gulf Coast's team add projects to the gallery, roofers to the locator and posts to the Roof Talk blog on their own. New products and programs slot into the existing structure without a redesign.
