Website Content Writing That Sounds Like You
Content Writing
Website copy has one job: convincing the right people you're the right choice. We learn how you talk about your business, then write pages that sound like you and answer what customers ask. Every page is planned for search. And nobody on your team has to write it at midnight.
Some of our finest work
From first draft to finished page
Good copy is mostly good preparation. Here's how a page goes from a blank document to live on your site, with you weighing in at the steps that matter most.
Research and keyword planning
We start with your industry, your competitors and the people you want to reach. Shea runs keyword research behind every page, so we know which phrases customers actually search for. Then we talk with you about what makes your business different and what customers ask before they buy. That conversation is usually where the best lines on the site come from.
Full content wireframes
Before design starts, we write a full content wireframe for every page. It's the real copy, in the voice we agreed on, laid out section by section with the headings and calls to action in place. Our designers design from it, which is how the words and the layout end up fitting each other. It's the easiest point to change direction, so this is where we ask for your input.
Your feedback and revisions
You read the wireframes, mark what feels off and tell us what's missing, and we revise with your notes in hand. Sometimes that means a few word swaps, and sometimes a section gets rethought from the ground up. Nothing moves into design until the content is right.
Editing and proofing
Every page gets a careful edit for grammar, spelling, clarity and length, with a check that names, facts and phone numbers are right. We also make sure the voice holds steady from the homepage to the last service page, so the site reads like one business wrote it.
On-page SEO
When the copy goes into the site, we work with our developers on the details search engines read, including page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text and internal links. For Mint Pest Control, that meant a dedicated page for each pest it treats, plus local pages for Louisville and Indianapolis.
Good company to be in.
Aviation leaders, century-old manufacturers, healthcare providers, and neighborhood favorites all show up on the same client list. Whatever your industry expects from a website, we've likely already built for it.
How We Write for You
Copy and design, planned together
A lot of websites stall waiting on content, or launch with placeholder text nobody gets around to replacing. When we write your copy, it's planned alongside the design from the start, so for clients like Anew Therapy and Abundance Family Therapy, each page's structure and words were shaped together to answer what people ask before they call.
Your own writer, led by Shea
Shea, our Director of Content Strategy, leads the words on the websites we build and brings 15 years of experience. She listens to how you describe your business and your customers, then shapes that into a voice that stays clear and consistent on every page. Her favorite compliment is a client saying the copy sounds just like them, only sharper.
Straight talk about your copy
If a page is trying to say too much, or a claim needs proof behind it, we'll tell you. Clear, honest copy keeps working long after launch.

What Good Copy Does
Design gets attention. Copy makes the case. Here's what changes when the words on your site are written with care and a plan behind them.
People can find you
Search engines rank pages they understand. Clear headings, the right keywords and pages that fully answer a question give Google what it needs. That's how a well-written site earns visitors without paying for every click.
Visitors understand you fast
Most people skim before they read. When the headline says exactly what you do and the next line says why it matters, they keep going. Confusing copy sends them back to the search results.
Your story gets told well
Belgrade Liquor is a family-run Montana store, and we wrote a site that feels like one, with room for its barrel picks, events and reviews. Your business deserves the same care with its own story.
Old pages get a second life
Sometimes a site doesn't need a redesign, just better words. We tighten the message, update the facts and refresh old pages for search. If your site has good bones and weak copy, start here.
In our clients' own words
“Our sales have gone up year-over-year since we let you guys take over everything. We couldn’t be happier!“

Content Writing FAQs
Here's what clients ask most before handing us the writing. For ongoing blog posts and search work after launch, take a look at our digital marketing services too.
What does Fluid22's content writing service include?
It covers the copy for your website: the homepage, service pages, about page, landing pages and any location pages you need, plus the page titles and meta descriptions search engines read. Every page starts with keyword research and becomes a full content wireframe, then goes through your feedback and a final edit. Most of our writing happens as part of a new website, so the words and the design are planned together. We also rewrite pages on existing sites and write blog posts.
Will the copy actually sound like my business?
That's the goal, and it's why we start by listening. In our first conversations, we pay attention to how you describe what you do, the words your customers use and the tone that fits your industry. A therapy practice and an off-road parts shop shouldn't sound alike, and their websites don't. You review every draft, and we revise until it reads like you on a good day.
Do I need to write anything myself?
No, though your input matters. Most clients don't have time to write their own site, so we handle the writing and ask you for the things only you know: your services, your history, what sets you apart and what customers ask. A conversation or two and some time to review drafts is usually all it takes. If you already have copy you like, we'll edit it and build around it instead.
How does content writing help my SEO?
Search engines rank pages that clearly answer what people are searching for, and that comes down to the words. We research the terms your customers use, write each page around a clear topic and handle on-page details like titles, headings, meta descriptions and internal links. For Mint Pest Control, we wrote a dedicated page for each pest it treats and local pages for its cities, which gives search engines a clear picture of what Mint covers and where. Good copy won't do all of your SEO on its own, but everything else is built on it.
How long does it take to write a website?
It depends on how many pages you need and how quickly feedback comes back. A small site is a much shorter job than a large one with dozens of service and location pages. When we write as part of a website project, the writing runs alongside the design instead of waiting until the end. We'll set a realistic schedule with you upfront, and Jillian, our project manager, keeps it on track.
Who owns the content you write for my website?
You do, once the project is paid in full. The copy is part of the completed work, and ownership transfers to you under our terms of service. You're free to edit it, reuse it in brochures or proposals, or hand it to another team later. We provide training videos for the basic tools in your site's editor so you can make changes yourself, and we're here if you'd rather we handle future edits.
