Breuer Metal Craftsmen is a family-owned custom metal fabricator in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, supplying custom and miscellaneous metal fabrications since 1948. From an 85,000 square foot facility, its teams build stairs, railings and more for contractors and builders across the architectural, commercial and industrial fields, including a long-standing specialty in components for water and wastewater treatment plants.
Breuer Metal Craftsmen has been supplying custom and miscellaneous metal fabrications to contractors and builders since 1948, and their work can be found in treatment plants, stair towers, campuses and commercial buildings across the Midwest. Their previous website ran on a heavy multipurpose theme with a drag-and-drop builder and a slider plugin, and it didn't do justice to a company with that much craftsmanship behind it.
The content challenge was just as real. Breuer had decades of project photos across stairs, railings, grating, walkways, mechanical rails and decorative work, a family story going back four generations, an 85,000 square foot plant and five distinct teams. Contractors, architects and erectors needed to find the right product, see proof that Breuer had built it before, and reach an estimator in time for bid day.
We organized the site the way Breuer's customers think about a job: what needs to be fabricated, who handles each stage of the work, and how to get a price. Fabrications became a clear catalog with a page and gallery for every product type, the five teams each got their own page, and water treatment plants, one of Breuer's biggest markets, got a section of its own.
The design leans into the craft. Bold serif headlines, warm orange accents and full-width photography from Breuer's own shop floor and job sites give the site an honest, industrial feel. We rebuilt it on WordPress with Beaver Builder, so the team can add new projects and photos without a developer, and kept phone, email and the "Speak With a Professional" call to action within reach on every page.

Aluminum mechanical rails, curved aluminum tank stairs, decorative metals, grating and floor plate, railings, stairs, walkways and structural work each have their own page. Contractors can go straight to the product on their drawings instead of digging through a general portfolio.
Breuer's craftsmanship now shows up on screen. Strong typography, a warm palette pulled from the brand and real photography of their own fabrications give the site the same solid, no-nonsense quality contractors expect from the shop.
Instead of one big portfolio, every fabrication type has its own page and gallery of finished projects. A contractor bidding a stair tower or a treatment plant can find relevant past work in a couple of clicks and share it with the rest of their team.
The phone number, email and "Speak With a Professional" button are never far away, and every page ends with a clear invitation to discuss the next project. A competitive price in time for bid day starts with reaching the right person, and the site is built around that.
A current WordPress and Beaver Builder setup replaces the old multipurpose theme, page builder and slider plugin. The site is lighter to maintain and keep secure, and Breuer's team can add new projects, photos and team members on their own as the work keeps coming.
