Belgrade Liquor is a family-owned liquor, wine and cigar store in Belgrade, Montana, serving the Gallatin Valley since 1959. It is one of three Agency Stores in the valley, selling to shoppers and travelers on their way to Big Sky and Yellowstone as well as to licensed bars and restaurants, and now operates from a purpose-built store on Jackrabbit Lane.
Belgrade Liquor has served the Gallatin Valley since 1959, and it's one of just three Agency Stores in the valley. The family was getting ready for a big chapter: moving into a new, purpose-built store at 7007 Jackrabbit Lane. Their old Squarespace site covered the basics, with a page each for liquor, wine and cigars, but there was little room to tell the family's history or show the depth of the selection that makes the store a local favorite.
The site also had more than one audience to serve. Locals and visitors heading to Big Sky and Yellowstone want to know what's on the shelves and how to find the store, while bars and restaurants across the valley rely on Belgrade Liquor to keep their inventory stocked and needed a simple way to place orders.
We built the new site around the store's personality: a Montana family business with real roots and a serious selection. Rustic textures, torn-paper edges, vintage photography and a classic serif type set the tone, and every department gets a page that feels like walking the aisles, from whiskey and tequila to Montana-made spirits, wine and cigars.
Alongside the design, we wrote the content and developed the site on WordPress and Elementor, so the team can keep the barrel picks, events and reviews current on their own. Practical tools, like a wholesale order form for licensed bar clients, sit right next to the storytelling instead of being an afterthought.

Whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, tequila and Montana-made spirits each have their own page, reached from a photo grid that shows off the bottles in true Montana settings. Wine is organized the same way, by reds, whites, bubbles, port and dessert, rosé and organic.
The site looks and feels like Belgrade Liquor rather than a template. Weathered textures, the classic logo and the store's own photography give it a warmth that matches the family-run, small-town atmosphere customers talk about in their reviews.
Shoppers can see the depth of the inventory before they visit, from Montana distillers to rare single barrel picks. That makes the site a reason to stop in, especially for visitors passing through on the way to Big Sky and Yellowstone.
Bars and restaurants can send an order whenever it suits them. The online form captures exactly what the store needs, line by line or as a photo, so orders arrive complete and ready to fill.
Built on WordPress and Elementor with reusable layouts, the site lets Belgrade Liquor's staff update barrel picks, events, reviews and department pages on their own, without waiting on a developer.
