The Client

Revel & Roll West is a family entertainment center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with 30 bowling lanes, axe throwing, laser tag, a 52-game arcade, mini golf, a full kitchen and a bar under one roof. It hosts everything from family outings and kids' birthday parties to corporate events and grad nights.

The Challenge

Revel & Roll West packs a lot under one roof in Kalamazoo: 30 bowling lanes, axe throwing, a multi-level laser tag arena, a 52-game arcade, billiards, ping pong, PUTTIFY mini golf, a full kitchen and a bar. Their previous website ran on the X theme with Slider Revolution, and it leaned on notification bars and pop-ups to tell people what was new, rather than giving each part of the venue a proper home.

The site also has to work for very different visitors. A family planning a Saturday afternoon wants rates and hours, a parent wants to book a birthday party, and an office manager wants a private space for a team outing. All of them should be able to find their answer and take the next step without calling the front desk.

Our Approach

We organized the site around the three things people come to Revel & Roll West for, reflected in the main menu: Eat, Play and Events. Every attraction got its own page with rates and specials, the event offerings were split into clear paths for kids' parties, group outings, corporate events and grad nights, and Reserve Online and Buy Revel Cards buttons sit in the header on every page.

The design borrows from the venue itself: neon magenta, purple, cyan and yellow, bold display type and tilted, framed photography that feels like the glow of the lanes after dark. We built it on WordPress with Elementor, so the team can update menus, prices, trivia nights and packages themselves.

What We Built

Behind the neon is a site built to answer questions and take bookings. Choose a feature to see it on the live site.

The Play section introduces everything the venue offers, and bowling, axe throwing, laser tag, the arcade, billiards and ping pong, and PUTTIFY each have their own page. Visitors get the rates, specials and photos for the activity they're interested in, with a Details button leading from every card.
Instead of a long price list, the Amusement Pricing page uses a single dropdown. Guests choose from 9 options, from traditional and cosmic bowling to the Pick Three Wristband, and the matching rates appear instantly.
The Event Spaces page presents the Monroe Suite, Legends Lounge, Party Rooms and Axe Lounge with photos and guest capacities, plus a downloadable event guide and menu. Below that, an inquiry form powered by Tripleseat sends event requests straight to the events team.
Four birthday packages, from The Ultimate Voyage to the last-minute Laneside Party, are laid out side by side with their price, start times and what's included. Each one has its own Book Now button, so parents can compare and reserve in one place.
Group Events breaks planning into three steps. Organizers choose a buffet, pick at least two attractions and add extras like drink tickets or desserts, with per-person pricing shown at every step.
The Eat section covers laneside service, the Detroit-style pizzas and the 30-plus beers on tap. Food and drink menus are linked from the main menu, the homepage and the footer, so they're never more than a click away.

A website that feels like the venue

Neon colors, bold display type and framed, tilted photography give the site the same energy as a night at the lanes. It now looks like a place people want to spend an evening, rather than a list of notices.

Answers before the phone call

Rates, hours, age and ID policies, party packages and event spaces each have a clear home, and the FAQ covers policies like ID requirements, supervision of minors and the cashless Revel Card. Guests can plan a visit or an event without having to call first.

Every page leads to a booking

Reserve Online and Buy Revel Cards stay in the header on every page, and the party packages and event pages lead straight to Book Now buttons or the event inquiry form. Wherever a visitor lands, the next step is right there.

Easy for the team to keep current

Built on WordPress with Elementor, the site lets staff update prices, menus, packages and the trivia night lineup themselves, and new pages can reuse the same sections and styles, so additions stay on brand.
